LiskHQ is hiring, new open positions
Recently Max Kordek, CEO at Lightcurve, tweeted that he is looking for a Tech Evangelist to join their  Berlin office. This new hired will have to develop proof of concepts with the Lisk SDK in Node.js, hold presentations and workshops and support the community of developers. More info about this job can be found here.
According to the Lightcurve’s careees page, the company is looking also for a
Backend Developer (Microservices), a Backend Developer (Blockchain) and a UI Developer.

Third Lisk Community Online Meetup is coming
After the two events, that hosted Jackson Roberts and Jonathan Gros-Dubois, in the third virtual meetup Dani L Alves will be the main speaker.
He will present a Proof of Concept for Lisk sidechain blockchain focused on restaurants: dishes offered by restaurants are listed in a website and, through a FoodTransaction in the restaurant’s sidechain, the transaction value will be placed on the restaurant Lisk address and debited from the sender wallet.
The conference is hosted in Discord, where attendees can ask questions to the speakers, and livestreamed on Youtube. A lot of Lisk community members already applied for a speaker slot and the events on May are already planned.
Join the online meetup.

Lisk SDK 4.0.0 alpha testing has been concluded
The next step is to prepare beta testing with a new iteration of Lisk Betanet.
LiskHQ has started the development of the Lisk SDK 5.0.0, which implements the Network Longevity phase. According to Max Kordek, the 5.0 will be easier than 3.0 but harder than 4.0 in terms of development. In any case, the testing is always the most time intensive task and here the migration will be time intensive too.

Lemii releases Lisk Daemon
This tool is a background service that provides information about the Lisk Node that it is running on, and enables the remote execution of Lisk Core commands. Lisk Daemon is complementary to the services offered by Lisk Manager, but it can be used as a stand-alone service as well.
